We are now turning towards Indo-China as we recognized that the Indo-China countries need help in their local ministries. We ventured into Cambodia in April 2018 and we are position to partnership in Phnom Penh, Takeo & Kg Cham.

In line with Love Singapore's vision to come alongside the Timorese, LSBC intends to plant a godly and vibrant New Testament Timorese church with Timorese leaders. We have been working actively in Liquica since February 2005 and as of 1st Aug 2019, we have transited into local leadership. Our ex staff team have taken over leadership of LSBC cell groups in Liquica and we will continue to work together with them.

Transiting to local leadership in raising a local church, capacity building, and assisting the local Liquica Alliance partners in equipping and training.

Batam work is still evolving and Bukit Timor is awaiting news about its status upgrade from ‘Squatter Village’ to ‘Mature Village’ by end Oct 2019. If upgraded, Bukit Timor will not be demolished and the residents will be allowed to stay on. We have identified 2 new Batam partners who are willing to explore working together with LSBC.

Chiangmai was meant to be our test bed for reaching out to the vulnerable, poor & needy (VPN) group of people, but it has evolved beyond that and is also a good location for our Chinese congregation to do their M201 trips. This is also open to English and youth congregations.

To come alongside our local partners to be a blessing to the dormitory children by teaching English and Chinese language, to show God’s love to these children who are mainly from the minority tribe whose families are in poverty, and to encourage the local congregations to be active in serving the community.
