LSBC - A CP church...Impacting communities, inspiring churches
Cell groups are also known as Church Pastoral Units (CPUs) in LSBC. As small groups meeting weekly, CPUs are a great way to be part of the church community as our schedules get busier and the church gets larger.
Joining a CPU puts you in touch with individuals or families at a similar station in life, for a time of worship, opening the Word, for prayer and fellowship during the week. CPU is also known as Community Penetration Unit. Members do community outreach such as block blessing together with their CPU.
A cluster of CPUs come under the supervision of a Zone Pastor or Supervisor, who together with the cell leader provides spiritual covering and pastoral support for their members.
Ways to Serve - Join a CPU
The best way to be involved in church life is by joining a CPU. Because LSBC is a CP Church, membership in a CPU is prerequisite to serving in a ministry and also for church membership.
Leaders and Team Leaders
Team leaders assist the CPU leader in organizing bonding, leading worship, providing pastoral care, and conducting CP work.
We believe everyone has the potential to be a leader. If you enjoy helping people, get great satisfaction from seeing others grow in their faith, or would like to serve the community, take up the challenge of being a CPU Leader or Team Leader!
